Brrrr! Nothing like a deep freeze and fresh snow to make you want to reach for those cozy sweaters. This year, I made an effort to seek out ones with distinct qualities to them, either in a vibrant color or with unique texture (like this one).
Outfit: Sweater: Anthropologie (still avail.) + colors /Scarf: Nordstrom, similar /Pant: LOFT (ancient), similar / Boots: Sorel ‘Tivoli’
I wore this outfit for apres-ski (which we all know is just hanging out a bar (!) and dinner out at a ski resort. It’s got a lodge feel to it, an updated knit pattern and these boots are great for scuffing around snowy streets. I’m all in favor of low boots on icy streets. When I see people trying to negotiate mountain roads in high-heel boots, I always say a little prayer for them!
