Cropped Pants – Winter to Spring

Cropped pants make a wonderful Winter-to-Spring transition piece. You can pair them now, tucked-in with boots of the same shade and then switch to a pump or wedge for the Spring. In general, I like a pair with a flat front where the crop hits at a flattering place on your leg, either above or below the calf, and never at the widest part. If you’re petite like me, look for a crop that hits just above the ankle for the leggiest effect.

Here, I’m showing the Vince Slouch Trouser, the St. John tropical wool stretch capri, and the LOFT Marisa cropped pant (available in regular and petite) paired with killer Joan & David “Felicity” pumps.

Vince Slouch trouser $225

St. John tropical wool capri $395

LOFT Marisa cropped pant $49.50

Joan & David Felicity peep-toe pump $225
