My brother-in-law, Brad Feld, has his first book out called Do More Faster. If you’re an entrepreneur in the high-tech industry, you’ve probably heard of him or his venture capital company, The Foundry Group. He’s a really smart guy and he’s done a lot for the start-up industry, especially here in Boulder, CO. He co-wrote the book with David Cohen and they did an amazing job! It’s a collection of the very best advice for start-up entrepreneurs who have the idea and the dream of becoming the next, big tech idea. David and Brad founded TechStars, an intense, three-month, start-up accelerator program with locations in Boston, Boulder, New York and Seattle. It’s a mentor-driven, seed-stage, investment program where at the end of the three-month period, companies are given the chance to pitch potential investors. Their new book gives sound, high-level advice through a collection of essays written by industry heavy-hitters. It’s a must-read for anybody thinking of starting a company, so check it out.
Also, you can stop in for a book signing and Q&A with the authors on their Do More Faster Whirlwind Book Tour. You can still catch them in New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, San Antonio, Austin, Raleigh and Boulder.
Since this is my blog, I get to gush about him. He’s one of the good guys out there in the business world and I have tremendous respect for his work and how he and his wife, Amy support the community. They deserve every bit of goodness that comes their way. If you’d like to know more about Brad or the book, you can check out his blog at feld.com.
