In the Pink

Here, there, more and more, I’m seeing hot pink turn up on some very lovely ladies. Celebrities Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence and Claire Danes all walked the Red Carpet during the Golden Globes and SAG Awards in bright pink and couldn’t have looked more modern and fresh. Style innovators got in on the neon pink look during New York Fashion Week, like this chic girl (left) who paired two trends together: camel + hot pink. Double points for her!

Adding hot pink to your wardrobe mix is a great way to wake up your winter outfits and usher in spring with pitch-perfect transitional dressing. The style darlings from (above and below) turn-up the color in their outfits with bright tights and a punchy skirts. The effects are out-and-out chic.

The timing is right for bold neons and it just takes a matter of gathering up a bit of courage and going for it! How can you get some neon in you life? Here are items similar to what these pretty girls are wearing.

Also, check out Susie Bubble (of Style Bubble blog fame) in NYC with her slouchy Prada sweater over a pale blue skirt. She knows how to stand out in a crowd of fashionistas. You can see more of the gals from at their personal style pages: LissaKahayon, Alienbelemont, and Inspiration In Italy.

Have a great day!

  1. Neon. Back to the 50’s.

  2. I love pink even if it’s a dangerous color : the risk is to be too much “girly style”…
