There are coats and then there are coats. As I was pulling together looks for last weeks fall trend post (What You Want) , I came across these beauties. Even though several of these coats are dangling high-priced designer tags, I thought they were still worth showing for inspiration. If you need a some new outerwear this season, buy it first. As you shop for your other key items, try them on with the coat (because doesn’t it drive you nuts when they don’t go together?!)Click the image for more info:
Personally, I think capes are incredibly hard to pull off. But if you’re the kind of woman who can, this is your season to do it. Go on with your bad self.
I’ve been thinking about this Rachel Zoe trench coat for weeks now. It haunts me with it’s leather-trimmed lines and Good Girl/Bad Girl appeal. I seriously don’t need a coat. Well, I could replace a coat that attracts dog hair like nobody’s business…but I have to be real. I don’t live in a tweedy, leather-trim, dominatrix, trench coat, kind of town. I do travel though, so maybe I’ll chew on that thought for a few more days, because that RZ design is persistent, I tell ya.
