We watched the documentary Mademoiselle C this weekend about fashion industry icon, Carine Roitfeld. It was filmed right after she left French Vogue and during the process of launching her new magazine, CR. Of course, she is meticulous and creative, as one might expect, but what took me aback was how likeable, feminine and supportive she is. In every fashion photo you see of her, she usually looks very fierce, but there’s definitely a softer side to her.

After watching all the fashion shoots and the highly stylized sets and clothes, I had no problem throwing on a pair of sunglasses for my Monday look. Pretty out there for me, but at least I didn’t pull out some feathers and a fan. Maybe another day.

What did you watch this past weekend??

I want to show that fashion can be a nice world, if a bit crazy. — Carine Roitfeld

  1. Where did you see Madamoiselle C? I’ve been watching for it. She looks fierce because she has fierce eyebrows. :-)

  2. I love the jumper from day 12 and that bag from Day 14 is stunning! It is overall a fab outfit :)
